SAINT MARK’S SQUARE

Witness the Basilica Cattedrale Patriachale di San Marcon also known as Basilica of Saint Mark and be amazed with the fascinating Byzantine architecture represented by this church. Observe proper dress code and rules during the visit in this holy place. St Mark's Campanile or the Bell tower of St Mark's Basilica is one of the most recognizable symbols of the city. Originally this served as a watch tower during the 9th century. Now the tower serves as an enormous attraction in the city. It is about 98.6 meters (323 ft) tall, and stands alone in a corner of St Mark's Square, near the front of the basilica. The tower is capped by a pyramidal spire, at the top of which sits a golden weathervane in the form of the archangel Gabriel. 
The Doge's Palace the residence of the former rulers of Venice shows a great gothic palace with many interesting and artistically crafted architecture. Inside the palace, you can also see painting of Tintoretto and Paolo Veronese, which glorifies the Venetian state.
For a unique Venice experience, the Grand Canal should never be missed. Experience boat tours around the city and fall in love with the beauty of Venice. FESTIVALS

Aside from the colorful arts and mask festivals, the most interesting festival that is hosted in Venice is the oldest film festival in the world called the Venice Film Festival. This was founded by Giuseppe Volpi Di Misurata in 1932 and continued up to the present time. This is considered to be one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals.
