Pacific Crest Trail
Commonly, the
Pacific Crest Trail is referred to as the PCT. This stretches from Washington,
Oregon and California between Mexico and Canada. Endeavor mountain hiking and equestrian trail
while you enjoy the amazing view of nature. The Pacific Crest Trail is 2, 650
miles long and passes through 25 national forests and 7 national parks.
The Pacific
Crest Trail was first proposed by Clinton C. Clarke. At first it was only a
trail running from Mexico to Canada along the crest of the mountains in
California, Oregon, and Washington. The original proposal was link to other
trail lines and the present Pacific Crest Trail now stands with its amazing
beauty. Unlike other trails, the PCT offers equestrian trail which makes it
more interesting.
To enjoy hiking
at the PCT, make sure to plan your trip. It is estimated by the PCT Association
that most hikers takes 6-8 months to plan for their hike. Most hikers travel
from the Southern Terminus at the Mexico Border north to Manning Park, British
Columbia but some hikers travel south bound. Though the trail for equestrian is
not as profound as the footpath, equestrian trail is still highly considered in
PCT. Enjoy the thrill and adventure and boost up your pride as you get the
title “Equestrian Thru-Ride”.
Finishing the
trail by either hiking or equestrian is equally challenging. Both will surely
boost your pride and both would allow you to experience nature’s best.
