Ichetucknee Springs State Park is definitely the place where you’ll enjoy the memories of kayak experience. The innate beauty of Ichetucknee Springs State park was recognized to be a National Natural Landmark since 1972.

This tourist destination has become popular for its unique beauty, amazing activities and interesting species present in the area. The most popular activity from the end of May up to early September is tubing down the river.  Picnicking and hiking will make you appreciate the beauty of nature in Florida and will also enable you to see different wild life species in the park. White-tailed deer, raccoons, wild turkeys, wood ducks and great blue herons can be seen from the river. Picnics areas are available in the park and the necessary needs are well prepared for your visit. For exciting water activities you can try snorkeling, canoeing, or swimming. Admire the crystal clear waters and enjoy the company of marine animals in the river. Tubes, snorkeling and diving equipment can be rented from private vendors outside the park though they are located four miles northwest of Fort White. The waters of Ichetucknee will definitely save you from the heat of the summer in Florida and of course the view that you are about to see is truly spectacular.
